does your prayer group have a name?

I dunno just a fun thread

There's a church not too far from me that's part of the CCR...they have a prayer group called "Servants of the Light". LOL that always makes me think of the Lord of the Rings when I hear that ("I am a servant of the secret fire..wielder of the flame of Anor..etc").

What about you?

Ah, I see it. I noticed it before, but I guess never really gave it further thought. Glad you pointed it out. Our logo is a heart with a cross in it and a crown of thorns around it. I dont have the logo though to show. Have a blessed day.

Oh, by the way Peaceful, thanks for the communion offerings for the people I work with. I see the prayers and offerings being answered. There is a little of compassion coming into the ER with the staff members. Praise God!

I have been to alot of prayer groups and some of my favorites are:

Children of God
Light of God
Our God Reigns

and also here is a story about a group I once visited.

So I was already planning to go to this one prayer group for over a year, but had no opportunity because it was so far away. So anywas, an opportunity came up and I was going the next day.

Well that night I had this dream that was really more than a dream. I saw my self going through these glass double doors into a church. And as I opened the doors, light just shined! It was so powerful. And I saw these words written over the place "The city of Praise."

oh I want to cry just thinking about this now.

So anyways, the next day, we drove down to the prayer meeting. And yes, it was glass double doors, exactly what I saw in my dream. And when the time ofr the praise and worship began, it was so anointed. It was blessed.

The group is actually called "bread of heaven." but, it truly was a city of praise.

In fact, I am going there tonight for praise and worship adoration.

When they do p&w adoration, the group is called "forever worship."
