Do Anglicans believe in Demons, the Devil and evil Spirits?

I believe that Satan and his minions are real.
Every one who I have met has his or her own personal "demons"-addictions,impure thoughts or desires... some subtle, others, not so subtle-each the product of Satan.

Each Church of England diocese has an exorcist as far as I know. I believe in demons and evil spirits - it is very real in the New Testament. Not believing in something won't make it go away.

For me, to consider that "everyone has his demons" is to simply change the definitions for our convenience. Of course, given the change in definition, we can all accept the reality of The Evil One and his demons.

It is this definition that is indeed often mental illness. Personally, I think that it hurts our walk severely to view that we all have our demons (are we possessed by them?).

We have accepted God's gift. We are protected us against Evil One and demons. Yes, we have exorcists. Possession is real; it is also rare.
