The decision came down in 2016, when 6 of the current judges (3 from Trump, 3 from Biden) were not serving, and 2 former judges (both from GWB) were. That would've put the balance at 6 R - 9 D.

That's true, I'm not part of the court whose findings of fact included the fact that the GOP worked to "target African-Americans with almost surgical precision". I'm simply reporting what they did find when they looked at the evidence.

No one has contempt for ordinary voters. We have contempt for demagogues who lie to them and manipulate their emotions. We have contempt for legislators who, fully aware that they are promoting a liar and a fraud, kow-tow to him due to fear and threats.
