Oh no, Trump trumps baby killers in my book - at least he does for now. There are already signs of betrayal to the cause there, though, in that he won't support a federal ban on abortion and won't push a law preventing the delivery of the abortion pill through the mail.
Which direction will he ultimately go? Bosom buddies with Musk on one hand and Greg Laurie on the other? And will he turn on other issues like protecting religious freedoms and opposing LGBTQXYZ proselytizing of our children? And will he persist in encouraging hatred of the homeless, the desperate illegal immigrant, social programs to aid seniors and the mentally ill and drug addicts, ect. - ie: the despised and afflicted and weak and poor amongst us - the very ones Jesus came to save?
With Trump's track record, imho, I figure it all hinges on what his advisors tell him will maximize his voting block as the prevailing winds shift. By all appearances he strives ever to bring glory to himself above all. Pretty much the case for all politicians, eh?
Having said all that, I submit to God's lordship to certainly raise up anyone He wishes for his purposes, like He did with King Nebuchadnezzar, for example.
Let's continue to pray for Trump - that he repents and trusts Jesus as Lord and Savior above all - and then champions all policies to align with God's will by actually studying that Bible he waves around.
Or failing that, that the grass on the White house lawn is lush and edible should God "encourage" Trump (like He did Neb'zer) to recognize His sovereignty and live to bring glory to the true God who spared his life - in word and deed.
Gratitude goes a long way with God. Something this idolatrous nation forgot a long, long time ago. The Lord won't delay His judgement indefinitely.
