I just wrote a spanish poem today. I will also translate it into english directly.
Como una flor en la mano de Dios.
Como una flor dada a tu mano,
quiero ser mi gran Señor.
Que lo sujetas en la mano,
con tu cariño y con cuidado.
Aunque sea fràgil,
tu me sostienes con tu fuerza.
Y me das una vida nueva,
en cambio de esta que se marchita.
En vez de los petales de mi vieja vida,
que van cayendo hasta el final.
Tu me daras una corona,
como promesa de vida eterna.
En tus ojos soy una flor preciosa,
mi vida es como un tesoro para ti Señor.
Por eso quisiste dar tu vida para mi,
por tu gran amor dada a esta flor fràgil.
Y por eso mi Señor,
¡quiero que toda mi vida sea tuya!
Que sea una flor aprobada,
ante tu vista mi Señor y Dios.
Que mi vida sea ante ti,
como un perfume de incienso.
Y cuando las pruebas me presionan hacia abajo,
que el olor de mi fidelidad y de mi perseverancia lleguen hacia arriba,
¡y te den gloria!

Like a flower given to your hand,
is what I want to be my great Lord.
That you hold it in your hand,
fondly and with care.
Although I am fragile,
you sustain me with your strenght.
And you give me a new life,
in change for this one which withers.
Instead of the petals of my old life,
that are falling down until the end.
You will give me a crown,
as promised for eternal life.
In your eyes I am a precious flower,
my life is like a treasure for you Lord
That's why you wanted to give your life for me,
because of your great love given to this fragile flower.
And that's why my Lord,
¡I want my whole life to be yours!
That I will be an approved flower,
before your sight my Lord and God.
That my life will be before you,
like a perfume of incense.
And when the trials press me down,
that the odor of my faithfulness and my endurance will arrive up above,
¡and giving you glory!
