There is a program with the Archdiocese of Chicago called Totus Tuus, and they are still looking for people. This is a summer program, where you would be living across the archdiocese of Chicago, traveling to a different parish every week, to teach theology to kids of all ages. No expenses, and housing is provided by the families of the parishes, and by the Archdiocese.

Joliet, a city in the southwest suburbs, had diocese with a similar program. It's the same sort of thing, but in the diocese of Joliet, there are lot more rule parishes, if you would prefer that. The Roman Catholic Diocese of Joliet in Illinois
