When were they there????

I think we were there about when I was like 5 or something.

Is it in the same business park area?

Yep, it was in the business park over by the airport off of Balboa and hwy 15.

About the only thing your going to remember at five is Santa Claus anyway ...
at least we were in the same building.

LOL

I was too smart for those myths!! ;)

I just remember that business park area, and that it was by Frys(or where Frys is now; I think:scratch:)

Oh, I do remember my mom used to be in the praise and worship team(for lack of a better name).+

EDIT: Actually, that does sound kind of familiar...:sorry:

EDIT: Looks like they're meeting in the Ramada Inn, which, incidentally, is where the church I go to now used to meet in(probably a different Ramada though).

Hey JTM3.....

I went there often between 1996 and 2001. They were in a business park near Aero Drive. Now they are in the Ramada Inn.

It is a great place.... wish it was closer to us!

Wow, a church that has been growing in rented facilities for over twenty years. Obviously it is a church that places a priority on ministry and not in owning facilities. I like that.

~Jim
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Some faith people do use their finances wisely, Jim... refreshing, eh? ;)

I couldn't tell whether that was sarcastic or not.

Could you explain Jim?

EDIT: Who am I kidding? Not that you would tell me anyway, would you? ;)

No, I am serious. I think it is wonderful that a church has proven you don’t need to own a cathedral to be effective and grow. My hat's off to them (if I wore a hat).

You should wear a hat ... sun stroke is very popular in Texas.

I think one of the best exmples I've seen is BGG Stuttgart

http://www.bgg-stuttgart.de/index.php?id=3&L=1

They've achieved a delicate balance between a 'mege - church' (they have about 4,000) an a concentration on small group discipleships.

When I ministered there in 2005, I got to experience their home groups and meet about 40 pastors who's churches were birthed there.

Awesome stuff!
