Wow . . . Harry Westcott, what a great blast from the past.

When I attended O’Connor Methodist Church in Canberra during the 70’s Harry was the senior minister. He was a fascinating character though one of his elders did tell me that they always needed to ensure that he did not stray into unwanted paths; it seems that Harry had a habit of doing things his way and he would often not tell the elders what he was doing. Even so, he was a very popular character and he had very close relations with the nearby YWAM base where I was living, in fact most of us attended O'Connor Methodist. Over the past decades, it seems that Harry has been more on the fringe where we only seem to come across his name more by accident; still, I certainly appreciated my time at O’Connor while Harry was there.

I also had had contact n the mid eighties. I was an usher at one of his conferences and often went to a home meeting at his house. Great aussie believer now has meetings in a big shed in country NSW
