You are correct. Zedekiah was the last king of Israel. Zedekiah was killed by Nebuchadnezzar along with all his sons.
The Jews were carried away into captivity in Babylon. There would be no more kings of Israel in the Old Testament.

He was anointed king by Samson the prophet, and was a downright twisted and evil king, and not to be trusted. He goes down in history as a tragic and in my opinion, a psychotic figure of a man.

Saul was the very first King of Israel and was anointed the prophet Samauel.
Before this Israel was ruled by judges.
