Yeah, I recommend it! I couldn't afford to go to a Christian school, so I took Berean to get my Certification of Ministry with the A/G. I'm in the midst of the second level (License) now. I think they changed the name to Global University. Is that right? Or is it still called "Berean?"

Global University is the name of the university in Springfield that Berean is part of. Berean is just for your credentialing, but GU offers college courses for credit that is accredited through the A/G.
While I was at SAGU(Southwestern Assemblies of God University-for those who may not know) I took a few bible courses. I took a New Testament Survey course, a course on the history, polity and doctrine of the A/G, and a course on biblical prayer as ministry. I'm really looking forward to getting started, just hoping it's not too difficult. Is it pretty hard, or not too bad?

The courses or the certification test?

The courses are pretty easy, in that the questions are straight out of the book. If you read and study, you'll ace the tests.

The big test, the certification test that is, is pretty time consuming and difficult. 2/3 of it is about the 16 fundemental truths and their scripture references (all that you need to know by heart). The other 1/3 comprise of questions regarding personal disciplines and so forth.

Just being honest, I was a little vague on the baptism of the Holy Spirit being evedenced by speaking in tongues (as the Bible really does back up). My test was sent back to me so I could "clarify" my answer! :o ^_^

It's good to see you're going after your studies! We all need to. Keep it up!
