Sorry can't help you out. I've taken this test a couple times in the past, and once again just took it about a month ago and latest results are that I'm an ESFJ.

I guess I have to agree with this. The descriptions I've found are pretty accurate. I don't like being described so easily though, I like to think I'm just a bit more complex than their little 'summaries' describe me to be

According to sketchy, unreliable websites I am most compatible with INFP or ISFP. However the use of random cheesy sentences such as "This is the [FONT=Verdana, Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][FONT=Verdana, Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]attraction [/FONT][/FONT]that can last a lifetime!!" make me question the websites credibility!

I don't really know what to respond with, but I can probably answer anyone's questions..though I'm no professional. (probably know more than a lot of them, though )

I'm an INFJ and I have a hard time believing that I'd be a good match with an extrovert. I get along so much better (friends and romantic interests) with introverts. According to a professional analysis (done for a class), I'm slightly more N than S. I think I fit the description of an INFJ. I don't think I fit ISFJ descriptions nearly as much as INFJ.

Lol I was just going to say something like that. I did the MB several years ago and turned out to be INFJ (I believe, definitely "introverted"), but now I think I was labeled an ENFP. It's a bit of malarky to me.

I've always gotten the same response in the now 5 times I've taken it (for different jobs, different schools, etc.)

I guess I will be ESTJ until I die, lol.

Yeah that's what happened to me! I think I actually got the same results you did I was like, 'oh no, now I judge people instead of perceiving them?!' (MB peeps: I know I know, that's not what it means )

I dunno how I got from introvert to extrovert either

I just did the test again and it came up INFJ. That is an ok fit for me, reading the profile.

Oh and the website I did it on has analyzed Jesus' personality type apparently?! (INFJ, in case you were wondering..)

Its not meant to box you in....The type you are is basically just your preferred functions. They might not even be functions you're good at....Just the ones that you naturally want to use. I'm ENTP, so my dominant function is Ne (Extraverted Intuition), but I find myself using Ti (introverted thinking, the dominant function of INTP's and ISTP's) a lot as well. Fe (extroverted feeling, dominant function of ESFJ's and ENFJ's) is something I've had to learn to use to get a long in society.

You might get lots of different types each time you take the test because you've developed the other functions well. You use different functions for different situations, with different people, for different tasks. So for that, its better to look more at some descriptions of the functions themselves rather than at type descriptions.

I know what you mean. Its almost hard to discuss MBTI separate of CS. It just adds a whole other layer of understanding...

I can do MBTI w/o CS, but it's so incomplete. It's too complicated to explain, even with our little tutorials, so it's like you're forced to stick to MBTI because it's well known and easy to communicate.

It's a lot harder to match up people with it, you can't easily find mates with it, and you two just obsess over it. It's basically the same as MBTI, calm down kiddos.

But really, for SOME people, it creates a better understanding It is not the same...But it explains a lot of things that MBTI alone cannot.

Actually there is a whole book on what type goes well with what... but it's hard to decipher as it uses catch words and jargon those unfamiliar with the theory are unable to understand. I could translate! Contributors work well with Facilitators. You and Rachel were made for each other.

Not that we didn't get along (rather well) for quite some time, but now she completely hates me haha.
