  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

A vege garden?
Do you have some soil or space to do garden beds?
What is your climate?

Tomatoes can be grown in pots dending on variety but they do need a bit of training as they are actually a vine.
Beans if they are climbing you need something for them to climb up, but you could grow dwarf beans instead.
Onions...need good soil. You can grow from onion sets not seed but they bit more difficult to grow and you need to wait longer for them. Grow them over the cool season not summer.
Cilantro...is that coriander? Are more of a cool season herb. But you could try growin in the shade.

Start with green beans in full sun as they are easiest. You can grow them from seed. Start a row but sow about three each day in succession so they dont all ripen at the same time.
Tomatoes i would grow about three from seedlings punnets. You only need about three as they grow quite large and spread. Put them in the ground or containers like a big bucket with plenty of enriched soil as they are very heavy feeders.
