Republicans, I spent 19:43 watching Kimmel's monologue so you don't have to. Unless of course you want to, but it's pretty much what you'd expect. It isn't going to convince anyone. It's mostly just a greatest hits list of all the things Trump has said and done that you've already heard ad nauseam in the media. Ostensibly, it is to speak to Republicans to make them aware of things they might not know. But in reality, it's just another 19 minutes of one-sidedness.
Toward the end of the monologue, he talks about how important it is for the loser of elections to accept the result. It's core to our democracy. And of course, everyone knows about January 6.
Ah, but what about Democrats, who for YEARS after Trump was elected in 2016 persisted in baselessly calling him an "illegitimate president"? Nope. No one mentioned that. So you might want to watch this video to see who the OG election deniers were.
Take less than 5 minutes and watch this compilation of Democrats whining about the "stolen election". Stay to the end where you can see the violent riots that broke out across the country as a result of the Democrat's rhetoric.
Kimmel also spends a great deal of time talking about how Trump shamelessly lies about all sorts of things. I don't dispute that. But again, the Democrats, in conjunction with the media, are just as shameless in their lies.
Take another 6-1/2 minutes and listen to the media blatantly lie to you about how sharp Biden is, that is, right before he crashed and burned on the debate stage and it was no longer possible to deny the obvious.
The Democrats want to pretend like they have the moral high ground here. They do not.
This is why I cannot vote for either one of them. They are two sides of the same rotten coin. And while Trump's off-the-wall, kooky nonsense makes for better soundbites, please don't try to pretend like Democrats are here to SAVE DEMOCRACY™!
