So serious……….. could this assertion be true that fundamental energy (Energy from Quantum Vacuum)...operates at SOME TRILLIONS the level of energy attainable in a particle accelerator?

Serious……. do you think that it might just be possible that perhaps we humans are neither the most well informed nor the most influential beings in the universe????????!!!!

Wow!!!!!!
Um... you don't obtain energy from particle accelerators, indeed, they require a lot of energy be put into them.

But isn't that what discussion forums are for…. For people to discuss subjects that we do not fully understand and perhaps wish to learn a little bit more about it?

You don't by any chance own some shares in oil companies do you?

I suspect that within five decades the judge in his case will be known to be the real con artist…….. or terribly naive for somebody in such a high office.

No, I know some basic science. You want to get something for nothing. Why do you think that a loser like Stan could accomplish the impossible with practically no education at all?

You try to throw around terms that you do not understand to try to defend this. Stan used people like you. Others are out there today that will use people like you.

If that's what you're here for, you should be happy to be talking to people who do understand the science. But you don't actually want to hear why your ideas are wrong, do you?

So what do you think of Nikola Tesla?

Can you name any of his inventions that you personally believe are feasible?

Oh… and the Dr. Masaru Emoto research….. do you personally believe that prayer can affect the patterns within water?

If so do you have a better explanation as to how this may happen than connecting such phenomena to the ideas on more fundamental forms of energy?

A possible connection between energy from quantum vacuum ….. with GUT….. and more fundamental forms of energy operating at vastly higher levels of energy than human scientists can work with at this time…...and a possible explanation as to how some sort of Stanley Meyer device might NOT be violating the Law of Thermodynamics seems pretty obvious? (My apologies for the lousy grammar and spelling)!

Ah yes…… I can see why this topic might not be a comforting one for both theists as well as skeptics!

http://www.christianforums.com/t7648510/
Theistic Evolutionary Theory, could our Creator have evolved/learned?

……The writings of Dr. Chaim Henry Tejman could lay a foundation for a variation on Intelligent Design Theory that actually could be in our schools sooner than we might tend to imagine!

Wave Theory and Gender: Why Sex
http://www.grandunifiedtheory.org.il/gender/g1.htm

"Pulling and gravitation, which resemble basic feminine traits, are the dominant properties of the magnetic loop. Consequently, magnetic loops have a capacity for storing energy and act to maintain the structural integrity of the entire wave formation. The electronic/energetic loop consists of expanding properties that disperse energetic matter that “disappears” into space. This is synonymous with masculine characteristics." (Dr. Chaim Tejman)

Grand Unified Theory: Wave Theory and Life
http://www.grandunifiedtheory.org.il/book/life1.htm

"The essential matter from which our universe is created is energetic matter. It behaves like living matter, creating every known entity, including living objects and even thought (which occurs through energetic matter–wave interaction). The essential structure of energetic matter is high-energy (concentrated energetic matter) electro-magnetic waves (picture above). This simple structure is the basis of everything: every energetic formation and the universe. In picture 2, we see that the DNA (double helix) of all living formations has the same structure as waves: two loops of the same energetic matter, behaving according to the same rules." (Dr. Chaim Tejman)

….. This topic actually connects with several important theories…
1. String Theory
2. Grand Unified Theory that is based on String Theory
3. The Anthropic Principle
4. The Cyclic Model of the Universe
5. The Law of Complexity Consciousness

Near death experiencer Lynnclaire Dennis was shown that everything in the universe follows a pattern that repeats and repeats.

For example the sun itself might well be symbolic of the divine feminine/fundamental energy waves whereas rays of sunlight might be symbolic of Super Strings/the divine masculine.

I was quoting a scientific encyclopaedia published back in the '90's.

"The real burden in the next three centuries will not be the development of fancy mathematics, but the experimental testing of these ambitious theories. All current thinking about total unification assumes that the effects of linking all the forces and particles together will only become manifest at energies that are some trillion times greater than those currently attainable in particle accelerators. Probably we shall never reach such energies directly" ( A Theory of Everything" Volume 21 of "The World of Science)

The author of this article was obviously not trying to say that particle accelerators are at this time producers of energy……. .but I suppose there could be some experts that were hoping that they might lay the foundation for something similar that might just do exactly that.

I suspect that a significant percentage of people who work on particle accelerators are hoping to come up with something that Tesla said was possible.

Some near death experiencers came back and registered a number of patents. Former atheist Howard Storm was shown that most major developments in science were given to humans by inspiration.

Science, technology, and other benefits, they told me, had been gifts bestowed on humanity by them - through inspiration. People had literally been led to those discoveries, many of which had later been perverted by humanity to use for its own destruction.

Ah. Yes, that's energies in the particle streams of the particle accelerators, not energy derived from particle accelerators. I see now. Also probably worth looking for more up to date source material, since the LHC came on line.

Smart guy but kind of nuts.

Can you name any of his inventions that you personally believe are feasible?
The Tesla coil is perfectly feasible (since it's been built many times), but useless for economic delivery of electrical power. Other than that, I have no idea -- I'm not a historian of electrical engineering. I do know that there are many crackpots who say very silly things about Tesla.

Oh… and the Dr. Masaru Emoto research….. do you personally believe that prayer can affect the patterns within water?
Never heard of him, and no.

Having worked at several particle accelerators for quite a few years, and having worked or spoken with a fair fraction of the particle physicists in the world, let me assure you: no, they're not looking for free energy, or perpetual motion machines, or anything else that violates the laws of physics.

You are missing a whole world of "woo":

Masaru Emoto - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

ETA: That is "woo" as in "wooooohoooohoooo! Scary!"

Emoto's work is widely considered to be pseudoscience. He is criticized for going directly to the public with misleading claims that violate basic physics, and for failing to investigate properly the truth of the claims that he makes
(Wikipedia)

…. But the question remains…. does his work violate the implications of String Theory even though his images would be troubling to an atheist?

masaru emoto

The Hans Jenny research might be even more troubling to an atheist because he seemed to get the most powerful results when Hebrew was spoken to finely ground sand or water?????!!!!

March 2007 Newsletter - Sid Roth's Messianic Vision

Interestingly, a Swiss physician and scientist, Hans Jenny, constructed an instrument called a “tonoscope” to make sound visible on substances like water or sand. Different shapes appeared on the sand as the result of different sounds coming through the device. He then tried spoken words in different languages
but nothing happened. When he spoke the Hebrew language, however, the language spoken made the shapes of Hebrew vowels on the sand. None of the modern languages did that. Although Hans Jenny was not a Christian, I accept the science of his research.

I believe that, when God spoke the universe into existence, the sound of His voice set in motion frequencies that became shapes. In fact, many scientists believe that everything in this universe is made of sound.

Emoto's work has nothing to do with string theory. It is worthless woo.

You seem to be very young. Sooner or later I hope you learn to tell the difference between science and woo. Real science can seem to be boring and hard to understand to most. Most advances are very slow and not too exciting to the average person.

My impression is that nothing happens anywhere..... without String Theory!

"It was not until 1920 that the idea of linking electromagnetism and
gravity resurfaced. At that time a new theory of gravitation had been proposed by Albert Einstein (1879-1955), called the general theory of relativity. It was a replacement of Newton's theory, which had stood unchallenged since 1687. Inspired by Einstein's work, a young German mathematician named Theodore Kaluza was seized by a curious idea. The theory of relativity links space an time together to form a four-dimensional space-time continuum. What would happen, mused Kaluza, if general relativity were formulated in five rather than four dimensions?
This is what Kaluza did, and to everyone's astonishment it was discovered that five-dimensional gravity obeys the same laws as
four-dimensional gravity as well as Maxwell's laws for the electromagnetic field. In other words, gravitation and electromagnetism are automatically unified in five dimensions, where electromagnetism is merely a component of gravity!"

The only drawback of the theory concerns the extra dimension.
Why
don't we see it?
An ingenious answer was provided by Oskar Klein. A
hosepipe viewed from afar looks like a wiggly line, i.e. one- dimensional.
However, on closer inspection it can be seen as a narrow tube. It is, in fact,
two-dimensional, and what was taken to be a point on the line is actually a
little circle going around the tube. In the same way, reasoned Klein, what we normally regard as a point in three dimensional space could in reality be a little circle going around a fourth space dimension. Thus Kaluza's extra
dimension might well exist, but be impossible to detect because it is closed
(circular) and rolled up to a very small circumference.
In spite of
these bizarre overtones, it seems probable that in future a "theory of everything" will make use of the idea of unseen higher dimensions."
.
...

"Although nature manifests four distinct forces, physicists believe that
each may be part of a smaller number of more primitive forces. At high energy, the electromagnetic and weak forces appear to merge into a single "electroweak" force. Some "grand unified theories" suggest that a further amalgamation takes place between the electroweak and strong forces at as yet unattained energies. The most ambitious unification schemes envisage an amalgamation of all four forces into a single "superforce" at ultra-high levels of energy."

...

Do a search for the near death experience of George Ritchie that he had back in 1943 and tell me that what he reports about invisible dimensions does not at least to some degree remind you of String Theory. Specifically... the part about why a fifth dimension would be invisible to the fourth dimension......or.... how a ninth dimensional space - time continuum would be invisible to the eighth dimension!!!???

George Ritchie, near-death.com:

b. His Guided Tour of the Earthbound Realm with Jesus

Then Jesus begins to take Ritchie on a journey through various realms of the afterlife. They fly toward a large city on Earth where they notice a group of assembly-line workers at work. They witnesses the spirit of a woman trying desperately to grab a cigarette from the workers who were oblivious to her presence. This woman had died severely addicted to cigarettes and was now cut off from the one thing she desperately desired most.

Ritchie realizes how the spirits in these realms immediately know the thoughts of other spirits around them. This is the reason they tend to group together with other spirits. It is too threatening to be around others who knew and disagreed with their thoughts.

Jesus leads Ritchie to a house somewhere on Earth where he is shown the spirit of a young man following his living family members around and begging them for forgiveness. But the family members are completely unaware of his presence. Jesus tells Ritchie the young man committed suicide and is "chained to every consequence of his act."

They then traveled to a bar somewhere on Earth which was filled with sailors drinking heavily. Spirits surrounded the sailors as they tried desperately, and in vain, to grasp the shot glasses to get a drink. Other spirits tried to control the sailors' alcoholic behavior. Ritchie learns these are the spirits of people who died still having a severe alcoholic addiction which went beyond the physical. He is bewildered as he observes one of the sailors passing out causing the sailor's protective aura surrounding him to crack open. When it does, it allows a spirit to scramble into the sailor's unconscious body. This scene was repeated over and over.
.....

e. His Observations of the Temple of Wisdom

They then travel to a completely different realm where some kind of enormous university is located. Spirits dressed as monks busily and happily engaged in some form of artistic behavior or research. An enormous library exists here where all the important books of the universe are assembled. Ritchie asks Jesus if this is heaven. These are the spirits of people who grew beyond selfish desires while on Earth; but, like the spirits in hell, these spirits cannot see Jesus either.

If we are surrounded by invisible dimensions of space- time that operate at vastly higher levels of energy...… then of course this will probably turn out to be related to NDE accounts as well as the Dr. Masaru Emoto research as well as how a Stanley Meyer type vehicle might not be at all in violation of the second law of thermodynamics.

Or are they just too scared to admit it partly due to the same trend noticed by Dr. Ben Stein?
