The precise nature of the official business on the floor is irrelevant. They could have been voting on renaming post offices. It wouldn't have affected anything.Actually objections were being heard for the counting before the hall was cleared out, which I understand was before the shooting. If anything the lawful objection was halted.
If you've seen enough video to know that, you also know they had backup coming up the stairs behind the rioters. All police officers have a duty to protect others, including the three officers near Ashlii who did nothing to try and prevent the doors being broken.
So first a few sentences of irrelevancy, seems like an attempted distraction. But all that is irrelevant as to when an officer is allowed to shoot.
What does it say about mobs? About protection of members of Congress? You seem to have their rules and procedures at your fingers. As per Capitol police rules, which are typical, there must be imminent danger before shooting.
Lied about what? That means someone points a gun at you or they rush you and get close enough so they could take your weapon. This was not the case, not even close. Even when you are rushed, as was that Minneapolis cop in the car when an Australian woman ran up so close to him, it was deemed not just a bad shooting, but the officer was criminally charged, convicted, and imprisoned. As I mentioned, the lieutenant (now promoted to captain) lied,
Wasn't this already covered about the radio call?it would be reasonable for him to assume he would be going to prison, and that explains his falsely claiming people were shooting at him and others. Those who covered up his lie also should be criminally charged.
