    I recommend it to everyone. It deals with depression and bullying very well. Heck, it's painful to watch at times, and I got extremely angry at certain characters because of their actions. Also, Kai Shimada is an amazing character, and how the anime shows older players is really well done.

    Watch the Index and Railgun series, as well as Maria the Virgin Witch. Both have some strong Christian influences (usually bad, though).

    I prefer the CSB, NLT, and NKJV. I've been reading the Douay Rheims Bible, and it has some very interesting translations based upon the latin. I kinda wish someone would update it to modern english.

    I do think translations should veer towards the traditional verses used by the Church for over a thousand years, if there is a question of what a verse says or if a verse should be included or not. Too many academics want to change everything, just to prove how smart they are.

    There have been a number of Bibles I was going to pick up, until I see that they have the words of Jesus in red. At least for me, red print is really hard to read. I have seen some where the red is dark, so it's not as much of an issue, but most seem to think that bright red is acceptable. Maybe...

    It's a real shame that Lifeway is closing all of it's stores. I've been shopping there for years. Anyways, they have everything on sale. If you are interested in the CSB translation in particular, you can get a Bible for 60% off. I got a very nice goatskin Bible for only $23.
