Having said that parts of the UK have had truly horrible weather floods ++ , people rescued from trapped cars , Snow ++ in many areas .

Morning all

very very cold still and the very kind neighbour who helps me with things like minor food shopping and seeing that my trash bins are at the kerbside ready for the weekly collection , came in last evening and said she would put the bin out early this morning , told ne very very firmly that I was not to leave my warm house [ horrors - think of the electricity and gas charges this month !! ] as everywhere was covered with 'black ice ' and she had difficulty walking !

I will be really really glad when we get some better weather - I'm going stir-crazy

Sounds like you have a good neighbor there. Yes staying indoors will cause one to get stir crazy but it’s better than injuring yourself!

We do have some sun today. It’s good but the winter sun is so harsh when driving.

I got a brand new shiny faucet yesterday. Commercial grade and made in USA. That was not in the plan at all. The reason we had the plumber over is because the water heater was leaking and I had a drippy faucet in the kitchen. It turned out we could not get a part for the original faucet so I ended up with a new one. I’m sorta in love with it. Lol!

Afternoon everyone.

We have very cold conditions here. Thankfully Dublin is one of the few places not effected by heavy snow.

Hope to see the temperatures rise steadily over the weekend...

It is super cold here too. I am looking outside at about a foot of snow that has not melted and we are expecting more tomorrow. Ugh.

Certainly there is no snow where I am at present but the temps are fluctuating round -3 to + 3 !!

I'm finding walking very very difficult as there is so much black ice that melts and then re-freezes

I know that has to be really getting to you Anhelyna. I know you like to move about and attend Church whenever possible. Praying that the weather breaks soon so you can at least get out a few times this winter.
