Why did you let Mormons come into your home? You are not capable of teaching or understanding them. They are trained to withhold honest answers from you and are not there to learn truth from you.

They don't have a verse for salvation. They have multiple non-biblical comandments that you must obey to be WORTHY of becoming a god which you can't do without a WORTHY Mormon wife.

Their Book of Mormon says that ALL non-Mormon churches are of the devil. They believe in multiple gods. They pretend to believe in Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. The mormon "heavenly father" has a body like a man and made the Virgin Mary pregnant with their "jesus" the same way your earthly father made your mother pregnant. I've studient this religious cult for decades.

Even my driver, knows the answer. The text asks why are they baptizing for the dead. That means it is people outside the Church, not Christians. There were Gnostic sects back then which baptized for the dead.

It's hard to expose something you know almost nothing about. That's why I tell Christians what Mormon believe. Mormons are secretive about their beliefs. That's how I got sucked in. And that's why they are secretive.

BTW, note how the verse also debunks your "Trinity"? God is the Father, not Jesus. Of course, not that Jesus isn't also God as his role in the Godhead, but the point is that the verse makes clear who is "God" and who is "Lord". And it also shows they are two different "beings", not simply "persons".

Spoken like a devout Mormon who abhors the Trinity and thinks all non-Mormon churches are of the devil.
