You and
@ReesePiece23 crossed my thoughts the other day during my quiet time and I prayed for you both. While I didn't know what you had in mind I asked for the Lord's provision and guidance.
This IS the time new beginnings. Things will never line up better supernaturally in your favor. The season of planting is upon is. Welcome it and step boldly into all the Lord has in store. You are a Kingdom man. There is more for you to see and accomplish. Lives to touch and share. The desires of your heart haven't been realized. God willing you're moving towards them and we'll have something to celebrate. Good luck.

I know that I have other posts to reply to, but I just want to give you a quick receipt for your prayer.
Last week, we had a round of redundancies at work - and all of our jobs were at risk. We got marshalled up to HR one by one to await our fate. Some people were laid off there and then, others, just scraped by... Then it was my turn.
I walked in, and they said that I was at the top of the list...
That is, at the top of the list for employees to KEEP. My boss went on to say that I was the best employee he has, and has offered me a substantial pay rise
with a bonus next month. The HR team and the BIG boss (the boss who oversees my boss) agreed and approved his decision. My job is secure for as long as I want to have it.
I know that my job is only a stopgap while I "tee myself up" for other things, but I make a lot of money from it - well, I'll be making even more now.
So, instead of being made unemployed, I find myself entering the middle class for the first time in my life - and will be going into a travelling stint next month with a decent sum of money behind me.
Japan, here I come - it'll be nice to see you again. This time, for a plein air painting tour.
God is good. And now I understand HOW good, because it could have so easily gone the other way, and I would now be signing up to a life of chicken noodles, £150 a week, and daytime television with all travel plans put on an immediate pause.
In the UK, this is the worst time to be unemployed right now so I am beyond grateful.
