The poll was about first quarter approval ratings.
Biden's unpopularity was pretty much due to a relentless hatchet job by conservative media. Historians, who base their ratings on facts, place Biden at #14 and Trump dead last.

Biden's approval at this same 100 day point was 57%.
Expect Trump's approval to decrease further once tariff prices start, as they are now, go in effect.

Ok. So the Real Clear Politics avg is a 46.5 one days in. Which is 10 about points lower than Biden's one days in.
I am not quite sure why you would think his actions so far would yield high approval numbers.
