And, as I showed, they had a felony conviction on a concurrent charge. The article came from the DA's office dated 1/28/2025.
Didn't we just discuss the inaccuracy of CP as a news source?

David Daleiden, of the Center for Medical Progress, released a new video this week which showed Planned Parenthood admitting under oath to illegally selling fetal body parts. Jill Stanek, of the Susan B. Anthony List, joins us to discuss the significance of this video. Pro-life lawmakers call for an investigation after reports that Planned Parenthood affiliates improperly applied for and received approximately 80 million dollars in coronavirus relief funds—Jill Stanek of the Susan B. The video is about coronavirus small business loans, not about the 2017 video.

96% of PP's work has nothing to do with abortion. They provide medical services to low-income women and are often located in the poorest parts of town. They do mammograms, cancer screenings, HIV testing, and yes, they provide birth control.

As to whether they had 100 too many employees to be considered a small business and were ineligible for the loans, I guess it depends on whether the 600 employees were in a cluster of small non-profits throughout the state or one non-profit, and that would depend on their charter.

As to Fox News' weighing in on the video cases, I would accept my January 28 press release directly from the Attorney General's office over Fox News or CP.

Rule of journalism: Primary sources always trump secondary sources, and the AG office is a primary source.

Why are they misleading the public? They value agenda over truth, I guess.

Lawfare. And yes agenda. Goes for both sides of the same coin.

Here is what Snopes says.
No one has abortions in order to sell their body parts.
The 1% of women who have late term abortions, due to their own life-threatening illnesses or serious fetal anomalies often incompatible with survival, are allowed to donate the remains for fetal cell research. Planned Parenthood is reimbursed for shipping costs.
Sometimes there are intermediate companies between Planned Parenthood and the university research centers. They may be profiting, and I don't see a reason why they should stay in business.
I am sure that the women themselves and PP are acting in the hopes that stem cell research may save many lives.
Is this tragic? Certainly.
Are they profiting? No. Their motivation is to help medical researchers find cures.
PP does NOT save lives. They destroy them. They're the largest abortion provider in our nation.

Snopes is a liberal biased sources.

They're the largest abortion provider in the nation. Evil.

That's like saying 96% of what Jeffery Dahmer did was not eat young men, he worked.

Regardless, PP is an evil, evil organization that has the blood of the unborn on their hands.

I couldn't disagree with you more.

The California AG is a POLITICIAN. What do we know all politicians are fully capable of doing? Politicians are not known to be a group of people who are always speaking true facts. Perhaps you might want to reconsider your usage of the rules of journalism.

He reported on a verdict: guilty of felony. And the sentence: don't go near those they victimized. Banned from making films.

I do realize that AG Bondi, who left defrauded Trump U students in the lurch because Trump donated $25K to her campaign (2005) sets a terrible example for other AGs but have no reason to distrust this one

I cannot believe that you are continuing to constantly and consistently stand up on the side of those who have prosecuted pro-lifers. Why does it look like you are on the side of the abortionists and the abortion industry?

A just cause does not justify going into a facility, misrepresenting who you are and why you are there, and clandestinely making a video in order to expose whatever crime you believe you are committing.
And I sincerely believe that tactics don't influence people to be anti-abortion.
The most effective way to influence people to be anti-abortion is the one I have been advocating for decades. Show how much pro-lifers value life by supporting child nutrition, education, medical programs, etc.
Anecdote: A niece has raised a child with many profound disabilities. Until the child reached the age of 18, she was told by the state that she would lose his Medicaid benefits if she earned more than $15 an hour. And so, in addition to raising a child with many needs that she wore herself to the bone to address the family (husband had left) had to live in poverty. For years we sent them financial assistance through Grandma so that he could afford things like horseback riding (around a circle, helmeted, with aides on each side) therapy because we thought that it was immoral to consign a family dealing courageously with unimaginable challenges to live in poverty. Now he is over 18, considered to be an adult, but my question is: Where were the pro-lifers who never pushed the state government to have more compassionate policies towards families dealing with severely disabled children?

Do you realize that your most effective way to influence people to be anti-abortion have done very little, if anything, to stop a million abortions in the USA every year? Do you know that the federal governments and state governments are spending more and more money for those causes in your quote each and every year?

Yes. Some laws are unjust. Did those pro-lifers write those laws?

Daleiden denied the claim that he was a
convicted felon, announcing on his X account Wednesday that he was issuing “a Demand for Retraction and Correction to the California AG's Office for the false statements in their press release yesterday and ‘unsigned’ press statements this morning, which directly contradict the Court's rulings on Monday.”

The pro-life activist also posted a screenshot from a transcript of the legal proceedings, in which the court is quoted as saying that “the plea at this point will be entered but it will not be accepted as a felony.”
