Can we talk about the 2020 vote now?

How obvious is it now that there was mass fraud happening in 2020 ? (the most fair and secure election in human history that would get you censored and deplatformed for questioning, remember that?)

What's funny is how many leftists are now claiming the 2024 vote was 'suppressed' by Republicans because they can't find the missing 20 million voters from 2020. They are so close to solving the puzzle and don't realize it...

One commenter noted that in all future elections, the democrats will forever be searching for these missing voters like the elusive El Dorado.

I only hope in the following years, through many thorough investigations, we find everyone responsible for this mass fraud and make sure they and their kind never come anywhere near the levers of power ever again.

What happened in 2020? People were fed up with a pandemic that gave us more deaths per capita than any other, and a president who listened to quacks and charlatans while firing the medical experts.

He looked at it as an economic problem for his hotels and golf clubs. Keep everything open--who cares about a few hundred thousand more deaths? My money is more important.

His biggest test. His grade? F minus.

Is it possible that 14 million voters just decided to boycott the 2024 election?

Sure... 14,000,000 voters manifested for a single election and will never be seen again,
Trump has almost the same number of votes as the 2020 election. This results:

1) Argues against mass fraud happening in 2020.

2) Argues against widespread excitement for the election of Trump in 2024.

But he is undoubtedly more popular than Harris. Trump won because people rejected the Democrats. The reason for this rejection deserves a thoughtful discussion.

The chart is highly misleading because it's comparing the final votes from past elections with the incomplete vote totals we have for 2024. We don't have all of the votes yet. Most states are basically done, but some aren't, most notably California, the most populous state in the country and thus obviously where a lot of votes come from. California is notoriously slow at vote counting and is only about 59% done. People usually don't notice California's notorious slowness, though, because the news sources can call it for the Democrats right away and people stop caring about it.

Indeed, that chart is already out of date, as the vote totals for both Harris and Trump in 2024 are millions higher than what is shown on that chart.

It seems to work out. More people just voted that year and Biden got roughly half

Less people voted this time.

Speculating why so many people voted in 2020, Trump's trolling campaign was really successful and provoked more Americans to vote. However, the shock value of the pandemic and Trump was lost after that, so things went back to the status quo. My thoughts.

You are quite right about this. In my previous message, I wrote that Trump has 1 million votes below 2020. Now, however, he almost has the same number of votes as in 2020. Harris, on the other hand, has 11.6 million votes below 2020. This difference will diminish as more votes are counted, but the deficit will remain significant. If we consider that Democrats have also lost the Senate and are most likely going to lose the House, it is clear that voters are rejecting the Democrats. The reasons are likely a combination of the following:

1) Many Democrats blame Harris as a candidate (and blame Biden for not stepping out earlier to allow for proper selection of a Democratic candidate). This may be a factor, but it is not the only one.

2) The economy / Inflation: This is definitely a factor. Global inflation has resulted in people blaming their governments. Considering G7 countries, Italy had a change of government in 2022. In 2024, the UK, France, Japan, and the US governments have been replaced or are being replaced. The ruling parties in Canada and Germany are now in minority positions and will likely be replaced in 2025. Bernie Sanders said, “It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them."

3) Social factors: People in several G7 countries, including the US, are tired of the woke agenda of progressives and the immorality that is being taught in schools and the media. German leftist Sahra Wagenknecht said, “Working classes no longer recognize themselves in the discourse of the left and are turning to the far-right AfD party as a receptacle for the protest vote.” Her newly formed party, which embraces a conservative social and cultural agenda, has succeeded in several German state elections.

Democrats should heed the issues #2 and #3 before blaming Harris.

well, they weren't doing anything else in 2020..

voter turnout is key. Trump lost in 2020 with more votes than he won with in 2016. Even democrats didn't vote for Hillary.
It's similar this go around.

This hypothesis doesn't seem to hold much water because Trump still got 74 million votes, and still did significantly better with minority groups than past Republicans. The supposed anti-Trump sentiment was not reflected in his numbers.

Then there's this little doozy...

From 1980 to 2016, 19 counties voted for the winner of the presidential election every single time. The most impressive of those was Valencia County, New Mexico, which voted for the victor in every presidential election from 1952 to 2016.
But in 2020, 18 of these 19 “bellwether counties” voted for former President Donald Trump. Just one — Clallam County, Washington — voted for President Joe Biden."

Let that sink in.... for the past forty years 19 counties have voted for the winner every single time... It just so happens in 2020, almost all of them voted for the loser.

Is it really that hard to believe that people cheated in order to "save democracy" ?

From the charts in my previous post, there were 16 million more people who voted in 2020 vs 2024, is the quibbling over the other 4 million?

based on the math however, taking 168 million and cutting it in half does explain why Biden got more votes that election. However, for the non-Trump fans, there was a factor of provocation to counter the voter apathy that was setting in prior.

The real failure of democracy is in comparing the number of eligible voters vs how many tend to show up.
