Back in 2016 I could see Trump showed some signs of a malignant narcissist. Many others did also, and as such the fears of what he might do as president were soon realized by his doing them while in office. Many former Whitehouse staffers have also attested to it.I see you're voting against Trump. A lot of people will vote against Trump, not necessarily because they like Harris, but because they dislike Trump so much. That was certainly the case with Biden
What I didn't realize was how vulnerable many Americans were, as victims of malignant narcissism. I even scoffed when he bragged that he could shoot someone and not lose a vote. I just couldn't imagine at that time that so many would be so easily manipulated by the absurd grandiose depictions of himself, the obvious intent to deceive, that they would vote for a candidate that tried to overturn the fair elections of their own country, and the overall selling of his fantasy as an actual reality.
These are malignant narcissist traits:
- Grandiosity: To be honest, I’m just more important than other people.
- Callousness: I really don't care if I make other people suffer.
- Manipulativeness: I'm good at making people do what I want them to do
- Hostility: I am easily angered
- Suspiciousness: Plenty of people are out to get me
- Deceitfulness: I often make up things about myself to help me get what I want
- Irresponsibility: I'm often pretty careless with my own and others' things.
- Risk-taking: I have no limits when it comes to doing dangerous things.
- Restricted affectivity: I don't get emotional
- Impulsivity: I usually do things on impulse without thinking about what might happen as a result.
- Attention Seeking: I love getting the attention of other people.
