I meant the 9% inflation comment.
How about Joe's story about getting involved in the civil rights movement when he was 15? Or that his house burned down. Joe also said that none of the documents in his possession were highly classified documents. Joe claimed he went to ground zero a day after 9/11. Joe said he was arrested when he tried to see Nelson Mandela in South Africa. All lies.

The audit found that the DHS' procedures "were not fully effective to screen and vet noncitizens applying for admission into the United States or asylum seekers whose asylum applications were pending for an extended period."
It noted that Customs and Border Protection cannot "access all Federal data necessary to enable complete screening and vetting" of illegal aliens. The report also revealed that CBP lacks the technology to conduct biometric matching at land ports of entry and has implemented "varied and sometimes inconsistent inspection procedures."

China works with Iran, and Chinese men of military age are now the bulk of the Chinese coming across our border. We don't want the Chinese to develop their bioweapons here in the United States.

When the capacity to detain illegal immigrants was exceeded.....many administrations ago.
This is why we need the wall and immigrants come in after their name is called.

I think most politicians lie and to go all-in and criticize the Democrat politicians as if the Republicans never lie seems hypocritical. It seems ideologues don't care unless it benefits their tribe.

It’s a bit more complicated than your simple plan would allow.
It must be complicated because our government still can't figure it out from many administrations ago.

There is a humanitarian aspect to take into account. Not all conservative Christians consider that to be important, but you might. Mexico exercises little or no effective sovereignty over the northern tier of Mexican states next to the US border.. These states are run by the cartels, right down to the traffic cops. The cartels have been encouraging asylum seekers and charging big fees to ferry them through their own territory next to the border. That's where the "surge" has come from. But if these asylum seekers can't get into the US, they're stuck. They can't go back, the cartels won't let them and the Mexican government can't help them either. What do you want to do about it?

It's not complicated. The GOP has no interest in providing real solutions to the border crises. GOP politicians would prefer to decry any comprehensive solution as "AMNESTY" or "OPEN BORDERS".

...and of course it's no secret that the former president killed the latest legislation....for what purpose? To blame Joe Biden.

Pathetic.

I don't like the current set-up of people coming here through human trafficking and there are a few bad stories because of it. So many illegal immigrants die during their travel, like being found dead in the back of a semi.

Any action by a person is taken at their own risk. If someone is willing to pay a human trafficker not knowing if they will be granted entry, it's on them.

I want an embassy/ immigration facility at various locations in Mexico and South America where these people can apply. This way they can stay in their own country without the hazards of human trafficking. Then we could even fly them into various welcoming facilities and give medical and legal care while teaching them the laws of the land.

Now, US Customs and Border Protection and the FBI say the gang is established in the US.

“They have followed the migration paths across South America to other countries and have set up criminal groups throughout South America as they follow those paths, and that they appear to follow the migration north to the United States,” Britton Boyd, an FBI special agent in El Paso, Texas, told CNN said.

US Border Patrol chief Jason Owens, who has confirmed multiple arrests at the southern border of alleged Tren de Aragua members over the last year, issued a warning in early April. “Watch out for this gang. It is the most powerful in Venezuela, known for murder, drug trafficking, sex crimes, extortion, & other violent acts,” Owens said on X.

The Mexican cartels have thrived under the Biden border policies, and human trafficking is their big money maker. It was only a matter of time for other gangs to get established in the United States. I don't understand why any moral person would support the current border policies that make crime so easy.

So they are now established here?

I was worried about that.

Great. The worst of the worst from the world over is here.

Honestly, if I lived in a city I'd want to have a CC licence. And I don't carry...

Anybody who’s never heard of Tren de Aragua has never read an Anthony Bourdain book or seen Parts Unknown. They’ve been a known known for more than a decade.
