I live in Detroit. I've heard that housing prices have gone up in surrounding areas. But, I don't go outside the city much, so there may be some deals out there I don't know about.

I live in Detroit. I've heard that housing prices have gone up in surrounding areas. But, I don't go outside the city much, so there may be some deals out there I don't know about.

Well I bought my house in 2014 for 80k. It was bought two years before me for like 33k by the people I bought it from. Now my house is worth just shy of 200k so housing prices are climbing fast in the suburbs since the housing market came back.

We've been talking but I love Michigan. Sometimes I wonder if it'd be beneficial to move south to GA or FL tho.

I think Florida or Texas would be better for conservative more faith filled politics out there.
