Who is the him?
The Lord or the believer?

I noticed in different bibles that some say Him and some say him.
Shouldn't it anyways be Him?

the last line also confuses me a little
"to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus..."

Not all bibles capitalise the pronoun when used of God - which is, after all, not actually a scriptural convention.

Why is that confusing?

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Grammatically, the pronoun "Him" (or "him" in other translations) refers to God.

It doesn't say "to [Jesus Himself] be glory in the church by Christ Jesus." There is a distinction between "Him" and "Christ Jesus."

However if you'll allow me me to use Word of Christo to expound Scripture Interpreting Scriptures

Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

However in the Original Hebrew Text 'Beginning' reads re'shiyth which translated to : first, beginning, best, chief

Who is the 1st? Let Scripture Interpret & expound Scriptures

Rev 1:17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, "Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.

As for the Word 'GOD' in Gen 1:1, the Original Hebrew recorded it as elohiym which translate to read (plural) rulers, judges & divine ones ;)

From the above, believe all would agree that Christ & Heavenly DADDY Worked together for Creation yes? The following will also show Christ & DADDY Rested together once Creation was done.

Gen 2:2And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.

However please contrast the above with the U/M

John 5:17 But Jesus answered them, "My Father has been working until now, and I have been working."

If still confused then how about this:-

John 14:10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own [authority]; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.

Wow, doesn't this show without any shadow of doubt that God the Father & God the Son in Christ are 1? Unseperated?

But in Gen 2:2 GOD stopped working right? However Christ said in John 5:17 that HIS Daddy & Him have been working? Revelations, Ever since Mankind via Adam Fell, God the Father & God the Son has been working towards men Salvation ;) Praise be to Christ & Daddy

Deu 6:4 "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD [is] one!

The LORD in the Original Hebrew is Yĕhovah which is Jehovah = "the existing One"

GOD in the Original Hebrew is 'elohiym which is (plural) rulers, judges divine ones

The LORD is one in the Original Hebrew is Jehovah = "the existing One"
