I went to this thing Wednesday near where I lived where this guy named Charles Ndifon was preaching a healing service.
It was an obvious sham to anyone who would thing analytically.
It was very depressing.
It was classic word-faith theology and hype.
I went there expecting to see miracles, because I heard from several people positive views of the person, they hadn't gone but were going to go.
So I went trying with all my might to suppress by general skepticism at these kinds of events.
I however was not gullible, nor did I allow the showy presentation to falter my judgment.
I quickly realized what was happening was manipulation,
I will gladly go into more detail.
First hand I saw how he would pray for people who had manipulatable conditions, like certain pains, headaches, limited hearing, losing hearing, and they would improve (generally only very little, but he would hype it up and the crowd would awe), yet anyone with true fault, would leave in the wheelchair they entered in.
Here is an example:
A woman with limited hearing in one ear went up to be prayed for one thing, and then asked for prayer for her ear.
He started doing this thing where he would "command healing" or whatever, and then he would talk in her ear, then from farther away, then farther... maybe 11ft or 12ft.
She couldn't hear his voice past 11... but after a few tests he saw that she could her him snapping his fingers from that distance... and farther... and farther... and across the room... everyone is like "wow she is being healed" while I was thinking "test her with your voice".
A lot of stuff happened like that.
