Genesis - The Creation

Blog details

CREATION
Day 1 begins :blacksunrays:
Genesis 1:1
Genesis1-1.gif

Description : What is happening...
The heavens are created, with the sun, moon, and stars, and the earth is in the process of forming.
The magma making the core is expelling hot volcanic ash, and as the rock cools, volcanoes are erupting.
All this debris, ash, and gas spewed into the atmosphere, is trapped, and the earth is shrouded in darkness, as the sun's light is blocked out.
See the animation in full color.
Genesis1-1_earth256.gif
Water bursts out, of the earth's mantle to cover the planet, which is not spherical, as yet.
New research finds that young planets are flattened structures rather than spherical.
Observational confirmation of the flattened shape of young planets may answer the critical question about how planets form, pointing towards the currently less-favored disk-instability model rather than the standard planet formation theory of core accretion.
The researchers also discovered that new planets grow as material falls onto them, predominately from their poles rather than their equators.

My image isn't accurate. :D
Neither is GIMP at creating gifs, using gifs.
So, I found this little tool called "ScreenToGif" It does the job.

Genesis 1:2-5
Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep
Genesis1-2a.gif

Description : What is happening...
The earth is still in its young stage of formation,
So, it is not yet a sphere. New research finds that young planets are flattened structures rather than spherical. The image is misleading. :grinning:
The earth is also empty, and chaotic with volcanoes, and magma filled crevices.

Scientists believe that the earth, at its beginning, was unrecognizable from its modern form. At first, it was extremely hot, to the point that the planet likely consisted almost entirely of molten magma.
Not everything scientists believe, is true, but isn't it interesting that the Genesis account, written hundreds of centuries, before modern science, is so accurate on scientific discoveries.

How could the writer of Genesis know the earth was created, and was formless... and covered in water.
...and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
Genesis1-2b.gif

Description : What is happening...
God is working on the earth while it is covered in water.
The Holy Spirit ((spirit of God) looks rather freaky, but this is just for demonstration purposes.

Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
And God saw that the light was good. Then he separated the light from the darkness.
God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning - the first day.
Genesis1-3to5.gif

Description : What is happening...
Light from the sun penetrated the dissipating ash and debris that is hanging above earth's atmosphere.
The light is called Day, and the darkness is called Night... Obviously we have night and day on earth.

Day 1 ends :waxcrescent:

Day 2 begins :blacksunrays:
Genesis 1:6-8
And God said, “Let there be an expanse between the waters, to separate the waters from the waters.”
So God made the expanse and separated the waters beneath it from the waters above. And it was so.
Genesis1-6to8.gif

Description : What is happening...
Water vapor is taken up above the earth, and the earth's atmosphere is formed.
The expanse between the waters below , and the waters suspended in space, is called heaven.
Can water be suspended in space?

Does water still feel wet in outer space? Does it float or does it fall? With a little help from our friends at NASA we will help you understand exactly how water behaves in outer space.

Water is a sphere in space

But, if you go far enough out in space, for instance, onto the International Space Station, gravity becomes negligible, and the laws of physics act differently than here on Earth. Just how might water act in a place of zero gravity? The photograph below of the water drop and air bubble gives you a good idea of how differently water behaves when the effects of gravity are counteracted.
...Water on the space station behaves as if in a zero-gravity environment.

Would having a great amount of water hanging above the earth atmosphere benefit the earth?

Using vertically high resolved satellite observations from radio occultation, we focus on the temperature impact in the stratosphere from the [Hunga volcano] eruption in January 2022 until December 2023. Separating the signals of the Hunga eruption from the broader stratospheric variability reveals a strong persistent radiative cooling of up to –4 K in the tropical and subtropical middle stratosphere from early after the eruption until mid-2023, clearly corresponding to the water vapor distribution. Our results provide new insights from observations into both the localized temperature changes and the persistent stratospheric cooling caused by the Hunga eruption and document this exceptional climatic effect not seen for previous volcanic eruptions.

God called the expanse “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning - the second day.
Day 2 ends :waxcrescent:

Time for a look at the waters, up close.

Day 3 begins :blacksunrays:
Genesis 1:9-13
And God said, “Let the waters under the sky be gathered into one place, so that the dry land may appear.” And it was so.
God called the dry land “earth,” and the gathering of waters He called “seas.” And God saw that it was good.
Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth vegetation: seed-bearing plants and fruit trees, each bearing fruit with seed according to its kind.” And it was so.
The earth produced vegetation: seed-bearing plants according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

Description : What is happening...
Land is being pushed up from below the water's surface.
Seed in the earth sprout, and the earth flourishes with vegetation.

And there was evening, and there was morning - the third day.
Day 3 ends :waxcrescent:

To be continued...
