Peace in Christ.

The false prophets deceive those who “dwell on the earth”….who don’t remember to always set their affection on things above.

Col 3:1-7 KJV
(1) If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
(2) Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
(3) For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
(4) When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
(5) Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
(6) For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
(7) In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.

They who “dwell upon the earth” (rather than focus only on the things above) have fallen victim to the deception of false prophets who do great signs (such as literal water baptism) to deceive them into thinking that they are great “men of God”…..hence the fire which come down from heaven in the sight of men.

Rev 13:

(13) And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

This should make us think of Elijah…. “If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty”.

2Ki 1:10 KJV
(10) And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.

The deceived give heed to the false prophets as they consider them the “great power of God” just as the people of Samaria did with Simon the sorcerer who bewitched the people of Samaria into thinking that very thing about him.

“Samaria” means to “keep or guard or watch”.

In other words, the observers of the church handwritings of ordinances are being “bewitched” by their performance of “great signs” and “wonders”….their great swelling words of emptiness…into thinking that they are “great men of God” that are to be heard. To them they have "regard".

Act 8:9-11 KJV
(9) But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:
(10) To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.
(11) And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.

The false prophets deceive them (who dwell on earthly wisdom) into making or doing an “image” to the beast (the false Christ that the false prophet is preaching to them). They are deceived into keeping and serving the church handwritings of ordinances that serves their “jesus” the “antichrist”.

The people of “Samaria” (meaning “keep, watch”) are careful observers/keepers of their church doctrines and commandments.

The “daily sacrifice” of our Lord has been removed (the deadly wound is healed) and the abomination of desolation (the image….the church handwriting of ordinances) is set up for them to serve their “jesus” with…the first beast is then worshipped.

The keeping of the daily sacrifice has ceased from among them as they serve their “another jesus” …the first beast who had the wound by a sword and did live (the daily sacrifice...the dying to the sin… no longer is kept).

They no longer die to the sin as they do not mortify (slay, kill) it no longer with the sword of the Spirit. They have ceased keeping the sacrifice of the Lamb SLAIN (the deadly wound NOT being healed) and serve the wild beast whose deadly wound was healed.

The daily sacrifice is removed = the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

The abomination of desolation is set up = saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast

Rev 13
(14) And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

They become servants of the sin as they “kill” (JUDGE) others with their mouths via the use of the image…the handwriting of church ordinances being used as the standard for doing so. They bless God and curse others (judging them as evildoers) with the same mouth via their "image"....the church handwriting of ordinances. This is how they worship the first beast by judging others via their “image” that they affirm of.

(15) And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

They then become servants of the sin (JUDGING others) that leads them to their mortal deaths.

Rev 13:16 KJV
(16) And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
