I'm curious how many people believe that Noah's Ark has been preserved somewhere such that it might someday be discovered.

It's alredy been discovered what are you talking about lolI'm curious how many people believe that Noah's Ark has been preserved somewhere such that it might someday be discovered.
No. I can't see how it could have lasted this amount of time in a harsh environment. Would not the timber have been scavenged for housing or even firewood? Anything is possible, but I find it highly unlikely.I'm curious how many people believe that Noah's Ark has been preserved somewhere such that it might someday be discovered.
Waterproofing. It was likely very rough seas. Timbers move with shock and vibration and the pitch is flexible to maintain the seal.I think it's possible - what would be the purpose of pitching it on the inside as well? Genesis 6:14
Mount Ararat is no place for preserving the antiquities.

I don't think Noah's Ark was likely to have been real, but I have wondered about the glacier flow on Mt. Ararat. It seems that anything in the glacier on Mt. Ararat from 4000 to 5000 years ago would have come down the mountain by now. But I suppose a hypothetical Noah's Ark could have become stuck against a rock formation and stayed on the mountain all this time.I think it's possible - what would be the purpose of pitching it on the inside as well? Do you have pictures? It's alredy been discovered what are you talking about lol
I swear it's like unbelievers just live in world of denial
Also there is reference to the Flood in the gospels (by Jesus) and one of the epistles of Peter. The bible describes the ark and the flood as a literal event, so there's that.

I think it's fairly obvious that the whole episode is a myth: the geological record isn't partisan, and neither are the laws of physics.
Even if we tried to salvage a supposedly historical core by demoting the global Flood to a local natural disaster, there's still too much wrong with the story to make any kind of sense outside of myth and fiction.
