• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

I know that I have both, sometimes I feel so helpless, can't breath or think straight... But my boyfriend is the best he is always there when I am having one... For the longest time I had no clue what was wrong, just a few months ago I found out that I was Bipolar, and these were Panic, and Anxiety attack...

So what I want to know does others have these, what makes them happen, why do we have to go throw such pain... If you have the answers get bad to me...

Thanks again

Johanna

There are many reasons for your questions dear sister of mine...

Do others have these? Yes, I do...I deal with anxiety daily...less now that I'm on meds, but I used to deal with it so bad that I felt like I was going to pass out.

What makes them happen? I don't know what makes yours happen...I know that new situations and places and going to social places makes me anxious, talking in front of people, doing anything in front of people, people in general...yours could be very different...search for the answer.

Why do we have to go through such pain? Because sin entered the world, and with it, death, disease, and pain. I know that I deal with it because my parents dealt with it and it can be passed genetically. I also know that I deal with it to help others find the answers to their own problems with it and to help others through it. You will have to search for the answers to this for yourself...God has a different plan for you dealing with this...don't ever forget that he will use you...the pain will be like a second of pain when compared with heaven eternal...have faith, Abba is with you.
