A man went to try his hand at parachuting.
He had never done it before.
So he entered training .
They said - so wait for the light and jump.
Count up to 5, and when you are clear of the aircraft, pull the parachute opening strap here.
Oh he said. Ok.
But what if that doesn’t work??
No problem , the instructor said,
If you try that twice and it has not worked, you pull the reserve chute strap just there.
Ok . He said,
Then after a short pause he said mischeviously.
And what if that doesn’t work??
So the instructor smiled , and said, it really doesn’t happen,
But you could try praying to Allah, betraying his faith.
And so came the day.
The light went on
He jumped .
He counted to 5
But when he tried the strap, he found it jammed!!
He tried again! It failed again.
No problem he said. Remembering basic training.
He felt down and pulled the reserve chute strap.
But it too was jammed.
now he was in a panic.
he pulled and pulled and nothing happened.
So in a total panic , and without thinking , in automatic he echoed the words the instructor said.
allah, please help me!!
And to his great surprise, a big black hand lowered him gently to the ground.
Phew!!
And after a few minutes regaining composure . He said.
Thank God for that !
And a big black foot came and trod on him, and squished him dead!
just as if he had fallen without parachute!
