i just have a thought on the first highlighted part! i've always thought that meant not that we mere humans could do greater than Jesus but that since He was going back to the Father, we would be continuing His ministry, therefore we would be doing greater spreading of the word than Him since He wasn't physically here to do it Himself. not saying we're better than Him in any way but you know what i mean right?
