Thanks. It's an injury from September 2022. I'm pretty sure it's due to the sports orthotics but no podiatrist will affirm that. The only thing I've been told between two podiatrist is that I will have times of flares.
What happens when it flares?
Orthotics just mask what's going on and does not resolve and adds more problems. I'm so happy to not have hurting calves and flexibility issues like I did when wearing them.
I hope you find better alternatives and natural remedies if possible. Keep praying for healing and stand against the spirit of infirmity.
The stomach & arthritic issues in the hands hopefully will resolve as I change my dietary. Methotrexate did not helped and made more problems. Misr would not be willing to try what I have, but I'm desperate for a better quality of life and freedom from meds.
Trust your gut. I went off medication when I was sick and despite the discomfort it was the right choice. One of them was pulled off the market years later. Which proves it was the right decision.
Same goes for the voice, I m not going to take a vacation day every 3 months for Botox injections the rest of my life. There's not even a guarantee. I have had an understanding staff and friends that have understood when my voice gets strangled it breathy. I will be working with a speech therapist. I've had two different diagnosis, one with the brain and the other the stomach.
Wow. It's difficult when you have a lot going on. I had a horrible bout of headaches years ago. I had lights in my eyes and struggled with dizziness. The MRI came back normal but they sent me to a specialist. When he told me what he was checking for I was terrified. But it wasn't that. He said it was a rare form of migraine. They gave me patches for the pain and they occurred less frequently until they stopped out of the blue. Don't lose hope.
Praying it's the Lord's will for healing as traveling the country, writing books and having speaking engagements has been my dream after retirement.
If that's the Lord's intention your body won't stop it. The remedy is done. It just hasn't manifested. He may not wait for your retirement. He may have you start in your spare time. You can get someone to do voice overs. It will all work out in the end.
Beautiful! I bought a set 15 years ago but have not touched it. At least I've been developing my gardening skills, and someday hopefully I will get there.
You'll probably want a digital one. They're easier to use and there's less heavy lifting.
I miss gardening a lot. We have a few things to attend to before we go because we won't return. But I'm ready for a change of scenery. My daughter suggested a move to the east coast for our remaining time. I'd love somewhere warm but we know the area. I could resume sewing classes and live outside the city. A house with a garden is ideal.
It will give us a chance to get used to living away from family and hopefully nudge them in the process. If it was up to them we'd stay but they fear the Lord. They see what He's doing and can't ask us to ignore Him. They're slow to change and we're more adaptable.
But we found the area we'll move to in the UK. We get the countryside and it's a short commute for both of us to school. The delay was beneficial. The program I wanted to attend didn't have an online component. When the lockdowns occurred they lost that time. I found a better one that could be completed online just in case.
We had similar results with France. With lots of prayer research we've settled on an area. It wasn't where I thought we'd go but it's better for homesteading and we can grow year round. And I didn't want a farmhouse. The ceilings are low, there's not a lot of light and they're harder to remodel but the beams are pretty. I'm hoping we find it while we're in the UK. Any work that needs to be done can be completed beforehand. Including the land.
I had a vision about it years ago. It was a homestead but the community was there for the harvest. We had food and beverages like cookout. But the overflow was given away. We had a special ministry for the elderly and poor. We gave them food and meat. I was tithing the land and livestock. It was besutiful.
He gave me 4 women from the bible. Ruth was the second and that's a reference to her. It's a modern nod to gleaning. Only the Lord could lay that on your heart. You'll have many stories to share in your books. Get ready.
