How can it be that the most powerful country in the world is watching its border be destabilized and allowing upwards of 3 million illegal immigrants to enter. And there are some 800,000 illegals, mostly single military aged males, classified as "gotaways" of whom we have no idea of their location. Let me reiterate, this number of 800,000 unknown illegal immigrants in America in the past 18 months is greater than the active duty end strength of our U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps combined. The reason why all of this is happening is because we have elected officials and administration officials who have disavowed the U.S. Constitution, our rule of law.

This is why we need a comprehensive immigration law with bipartisan support.

Some ways we can combat immigration from the south are free trade agreements like NAFTA which help boost the salaries in our southern neighboring countries, making economic migration unnecessary.

Other things that would help are alleviating climate problems (and the bill that will be passed this week moves it forward) so that these nations, heavily dependent on agriculture, won't experience the severe droughts and heat waves that have uprooted their livelihoods.

Allowing people to apply for asylum in their home countries will prevent them from making the long dangerous trip to the U.S. only to be turned back.

Joe never should have encouraged people to come. We are dealing with a horrific disaster, and both Joe and Mayorkas have flaunted the laws of this nation. There is no sense in passing any new laws. The people in this administration need to be held accountable for the human trafficking and Chinese drugs pouring over our border. Letting the hard left who hate America lead is destroying the U.S. energy industry. Anyone serious about reducing global warming will be demanding the Chinese and India curb their pollution--obviously the "green leaders" in the U.S. are not.

I am so perplexed as to where these falsehoods crop up (well, I have a pretty good idea--on uverse it's channel 210) but there are numerous articles about China's leadership in wind and solar power.
Here's just one:
These are the strategies behind China’s ambitious clean energy transition | Greenbiz

It's so refreshing to see a country recognize its problem and do something about it. At least we have our scaled down plan to be grateful for.

Chinese propaganda. Have you seen photos of their cities, or know of when they are on lockdown because the air quality is so bad. So while they say they are going to change their climate neutrality stated goal of 2060 will be too late according to climate scientists.
----------------------------------------------------------------

China became the world's largest emitter of carbon dioxide in 2006 and is now responsible for more than a quarter of the world's overall greenhouse gas emissions.

It is expected to come under intense scrutiny at the COP26 summit over its commitments to reduce these.

Along with all the other signatories to the Paris Agreement in 2015, China agreed to make changes to try to keep global warming at 1.5C above pre-industrial levels, and "well below" 2C.

China strengthened its commitments in 2020, but Climate Action Tracker, an international group of scientists and policy experts say its current actions to meet that goal are "highly insufficient".

Why China's climate policy matters to us all

I believe this misses the point:
Part of asking for asylum (which yes, a person must be in physically in the United States regardless of how they came to be here), is showing that one had to leave one’s home-country and make the arduous journey to seek the asylum.

The most polluted country in the world is ... China. By far. They took over that honor from the USSR. So while it's wonderful that they are doing a bit to clean up their pollution they are still and by far the worst polluters on the planet. That floating plastic continent in the Pacific Ocean is largely thanks to them.

Yes, they gave more pollution, but they are doing more than we are to combat it.
Is there room for improvement? Yes. But acting like they do nothing when they are doing a lot more than us is wrong.
Propaganda.
