From 1 Timothy 1:6-7
5 The goal of this command is love,
which comes from a pure heart and a
good conscience and a sincere faith.
6 Some have wandered away from these
and turned to meaningless talk.
Sometimes, in tomes of seeking minds
we find how far the erudite
can stray from love, that life divine,
Therefore Pure Heart, oh Lord, be mine.
There's no one good but God, You said.
Your health to me in Daily Bread!
Your grace, your good till soul is fed,
and I, sincere, by faith am led.
