If anyone wants an early Thanksgiving dinner in April, send me a PM. We have 4 of them here at least. Gobble gobble.

Wow, you got high quality turkey photos. Which model of camera did you use?
It was just my iPhone 13 for the first two. The last photo was taken with my iPad camera.

I have a Canon Powershot SX40 HS, but my iPhone was in my hand and I wanted to get the turkeys before they walked away.

A friend of mine. Said that wild turkeys have ticks that carry Lyme disease? Are those wild turkeys i thought she said you couldn't eat any because of that?
Hmm

I took that photo through my window, haven’t seen any ticks or tick bites.

According to Google, you won’t get Lyme disease from eating game meat, but you need to cook it throughly. The danger is getting bitten by a tick carrying the disease when handling the turkey, either alive or dead. As the article says, wear protective gear.

Canon is a good brand, these Japanese cameras are high quality stuff. At least your iPhone and iPad took decent photos. I have a Samsung A54 now, and the photos look amazing on it. Now I need to find turkeys in my local area when I start going on spring morning walks again.
