Love most of Gavin's stuff. Well researched, taking historical things in to account, not just Biblical.

And he does it with respect. Class act.

For sure! The Icon one shows solid evidence that it's a bunch of "stuff" that crept into the Church. That one is solid! It shows how things that have zero importance were made conditions for salvation.

I arrived at the same conclusions of Ortlund back in 2013, I have since taken a Lutheran approach to images instead of the Reformed view, but the Eastern insistence that you MUST kiss and venerate icons is far fetched.
