What do you know now that you didn't know then?

What do you know in your 30's that you didn't know back when you were a young adult starting out?

For me:
1.How much financial trouble you can get yourself into with credit cards.
2. How easy it is to get in over your head by taking on too much at one time etc.. Going to school,going to work and starting a family.
3. How much hard work and sacrifice to have a happy marriage really takes.

Really? i guess its just second nature to me now, maybe it is just relative, i was terrified of being a mom, now its something i love.

I didn't realize it cost so much money to live on your own - LOL I thought a Burger King salary was alot of money and would cover all the bills. LOL

I thought I knew what love was, but I didn't.
I wasted tears and time and silly things that never really mattered.
I thought I was confident, but now I know confidence.
Book knowledge is good, but maturity is SO much better.

There are so many things to be thankful for and not just take for granted.

I thought I was saved, now I know I wasn't then and am now, I didn't have true repentance then,

sometimes you don't know you don't have it until you get it

and wonder how many are walking around thinking they have a ticket into heaven because they believe Jesus died for thier sins so they'v got a get out of jail free card and can do whatever they without any consequences. ...without true repentence....
