***I'm trying to start a regular thread where people who have read the book can talk with others who have. I'll give a thumbs up or down by the subject depending on how much I liked it, but come say what you think.***
Ah, Homeland...the beginning of one of my favorite fantasy series. Reading this got me into D&D as well as Role-Playing in general. I though it had likeable and detailed characters and I personally grew atatched to Drizzt and his plane hopping panther( I can't remember his name). I found Drizzt likable because he seemed like a good guy. Up until I read this, I had only read Conan, King Arthur, and Lankhmar. All fine books, but none of the characters where as cool as Drizzt. So....what do you think?
