Hi,
I read one of the best papers on the Atonement I've ever read by John Murray. He was a reformed theologian and professor at Westminister Theological Seminary as well as Princeton Theological Seminary. He taught systematic theology. Here's his paper (it's not that long but it's really, really just so outstanding it's excellent, imo, on something so powerful as the Atonement):

It really makes it easy, imo, to "put together" all the truths about God's Sovereign Grace in Jesus Christ. Also, I think as believers the Lord would have us to focus on what Jesus did on the cross so that we can really understand and appreciate how completely God has saved us through Jesus Christ.
There are many other reformed writings on this "graceonlinelibrary" as well. The work by John Murray is one of numerous writings that others might enjoy.
Grace and peace,
Laura "LeeLee"
