i lvoe stephen king. i watched it! did you know he wrote this becasue he was hit by a car himself? (thinks she heard something along those lines.....)

Actually, it was already a show in Germany for a few years called "Kingdom", and King caught a VHS tape of it shortly before being struck while jogging (like in the show). He became truly inspired and determined to do the show after he was hospitalized for his accident. He bought the rights for an american version, which is cool.


I think its cool how he worked it into the series opener plot.
