How appropriate it is that as we celebrate Christmas, the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, we go into it with a reminder of a message from Paul's letter to the Colossians 3:12-17.
In this world of turmoil that we live in, lets remind ourselves as Christians of the need to spread our love through prayer for others so that they may know the Lord's love and be saved, and perhaps to so many people to whom Christmas means the exchange of gifts, cards, shinny lights and snowman, the message of Christmas will carry its correct meaning. It is an opportune time for the Christian to uphold the true cause of Christmas which has become so commercialised out of all imaginable proportions.
May the grace of the Lord be upon us all and Peace this Christmas as we pray for our lost brothers and sisters the world over and for the spread of the Gospel which brings salvation to all.
