Should Christians watch anime? Depends on the type of anime. If good prevails over evil, then yeah, but if the anime gets too dark, or too violent, then no. Hunter X Hunter and One Piece are a pretty wholesome anime, and good always won, plus many friendships formed, and blood isn't used every episode. Also, we know the backstories of some of the villains, so we know they had suffering in their lives that lead up to them being jerkholes. If you want a mostly wholesome anime, Azumanga Daioh contains no blood, and no crass content. However, there is a creepy teacher who crushes on students, but he only gets 5 or so minutes on the TV show which runs for 26 episodes. He also is made fun of by the students. Also, anything by Studio Ghibli from the 1980s through 2014 is pretty good. The Ugly JoJo: No, that anime isn't good for anyone to watch. Dogs and cats have been attacked in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and so I gave up on the anime. There is too much blood every 3 minutes or less and crass innuendoes in Jojo's. Verdict is that Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is a terrible anime. The Good Cowboy Bebop: The anime is set in the late 21st century, and features bounty hunters, though rarely has death. The show always has a running joke that the crew of the Bebop never get rewards from catching the criminals, or the criminals get caught by other bounty hunters instead. Overall, the show isn't as violent, and is probably okay to watch as a Christian. Verdict is that Cowboy Bebop is a great show.
