The Biden family set up over 20 shell companies ... that need to be investigated ...
I notice that Comer set up a shell company to funnel money (supposedly "a loan") to a relative. Should that be investigated? Trump set up a shell company to list his failing social media company. Should that be investigated?

Sounds like the Russia collusion investigation. How many years did Trump get for that?
His underlings got lots of years for their crimes in colluding with Russia. Trump found it necessary to pardon those closest to him for some reason...

First Trump is Hitler now he’s John Gotti
Hitler, no. For one thing, Trump says he wants Jews to count his money. But Gotti avoided prison for the same reason Trump did for a long time; his underlings wouldn't flip on him. Now they are. And Gotti went down, the same way;

It should be interesting having Trump’s former attorney testify that Trump should be jailed for following the legal advice that he gave him.

Ironically, the tape shows Trump asking if the hush money should be in cash, and Cohen replies "no, no, no." But that's not legal advice; it's trying to minimize the chances of being caught. It also shows that Trump was in the middle of the plan to pay the hush money that was needed to keep his campaign alive.

And Cohen is certainly not the only Trump underling now cooperating with the law.

What is illegal about paying someone for a non disclosure agreement?

Nothing. But if you put it down as paying your lawyer for services rendered, rather than paying a lady of ill repute for an NDA, that's falsifying a business document.

Nothing (unless the NDA is to cover a crime, which is not the case here); if one uses their own money.
However if one uses donations to one’s Presidential campaign to pay back the person who fronted the payoff, (which is an undisclosed campaign finance violation (crime #1)), then falsifying the records to indicate that the $130,000+ payments were “legal-fees”, (covering-up crime #1), then one opens themselves to the justice system’s ramifications.

Nothing, if it's not for a political campaign.

Trump fudged the records, the theory goes, because he didn’t want the alleged affair with Daniels to become public and harm his then-ongoing presidential campaign. Therefore, the hush-money payments were actually campaign contributions in excess of federal limits and improperly reported. If the DA prevails on this point, the crime becomes a class E felony, the lowest of five felony levels under New York law. While Trump would face a maximum of four years behind bars in this scenario

Which is a misdemeanor for which the statute of limitations had passed Isn’t it?

Nope.

Trump charged with 34 felony counts in hush money scheme

The indictment centers on allegations that Trump falsified internal business records at his private company while trying to cover up an effort to illegally influence the 2016 election by arranging payments that silenced claims potentially harmful to his candidacy. It includes 34 counts of fudging records related to checks Trump sent to his personal lawyer and problem-solver to reimburse him for his role in paying off a [XXX] actor who said she had an extramarital sexual encounter with Trump years earlier.

The camp finance violation makes it a felony.

Whew, this trial is gonna heat up pretty soon. I found the official indictment from the Manhattan DA's office, as it is publicly available information. Trump violated Penal Law §175.10 (law available as PDF provided by the New York Courts), for those who like to know which law he broke. :)
