Well, I have seen much injustice in my many years on Planet E
MUCH injustice. So part of me is hardly surprised at all the disgusting politically-motivated antics of Trump's enemies trying to get him by distorting the law and violating his rights.
But as a Catholic Christian, I also see other things... if you are anti-Catholic, you should probably hold your peace because I am not in the mood to defend Catholicism here, to speak of.
But I sometimes believe that Trump is "paying for the sins of his youth (and not- so- youth)." I sometimes believe that God allows good people to go through these things because they need to be purified (made ready for Heaven), which usually happens through suffering (Ask Jesus about that one). Purgatory is said to be painful, so, as the Saints say, it is better to be purified (do your purgation) here on E rather than after death.
Even though I haven't run this idea by any clergy from my or any other church, well, I think this is a good possibility.
The bad people? I think God lets them get away with all manner of evil because He knows where they are headed if they do not repent. And the more entrenched you are in your sin (lawlessness, sexual debauchery, promoting abortion... etc), the less likely it is you ever WILL repent. Sad but true...
In any case, the Word says, God "prunes" and chastises those He
what?
Those He loves
