Lutherans and headcovering?

I recently feel called to dress more modestly, and wear skirts more often, hopefully transitioning to wearing skirts always. I was wondering what other Lutherans feel about headcovering. I've done some research, but haven't been able to find much about what the church in general feels about it. Any ideas would be helpful

instead of worrying about what other lutherans think why not go to the Word of God and see for yourself? i think it is great that you want to wear more skirts and maybe head coverings too but what it comes down to in the end is what your reasons are for wearing them and what the Word says. according to the Word you will be responsible for every decision you make and so you should make sure that first it is scriptural and second that God wants you to do it.

I haven't seen headcovering as a common practice in any Lutheran church I've attended, but I wouldn't let that stop you. In my experience congregations would be supportive/welcoming of someone doing that.
