Yesterday when I went for my radiation therapy, my radiation oncologist wanted to talk to me before the treatment. He wants me to take a break from the radiation until after Christmas, then they will do another CT scan simulation to see one of three things, improvement, no improvement, or gotten worse. The main concern is the radiation causing irreversible damage to my lungs, which would surely cause my death.

I have an appointment this Thursday with my regular oncologist, for a follow up, and possible break in chemo too.
