Has anybody tried honey for different cures? I had a very bad clear gel bump on my toe that won´t go away. The doc would lance it, and gave a prescription salve to put on it. It didn´t help and nothing help for about 4 months. Then I lanced it myself and put honey on it and it went away within a week and cured itself and so far it hasn´t come back. This was about 4 yrs ago.

I use honey as a soother for sore throats (as I sing often), and it has worked wonders for me.

honey is used in the most effective treatment centers for cravings, near seattle washington i think.

honey has been used in china and in britain as the only known way to save a limb once gangrene has set in.

some surgeons and mds have used honey very successfully as an anti-infection topically (just as jews and indians and chinese have for centuries).

and honey is an excellent sweetener without causing all the diseases caused by refined products.

as a legal type disclaimer, even though there is NO evidence or studies nor even one case proven of bad results,
"the us gov says that honey should not be given to uner 1y.o."

historically for 6 thousand years honey has been the next best to mothers milk and that differs with the decision of the us gov, but after all many do live in the usa .

How interesting. I have been taking natural raw honey everyday for my asthma. I have not had to use my inhaler for about 4 days now.

2Tbls. honey mixed very well with 2 Tbls. lemon juice can be used as a decongestant for sinus problems and headaches.

honey is great for open wounds it has stuff in it to help heal as well as it keeps germs out of the wound and as the wound heals and closes on its own it pushes the honey out

Raw honey is great . Tasty and full of healthy stuff. I've heard it can also be great for allergies, especially if it's local.

Honey has much more benefits of that you've posted, it is also very good for memory and lungs. I use a lot of honey, my mother has no sugar in her house, she uses just natural honey !

Raw honey is wonderful and versatile. I use it occasionally as a tea sweetener, on bread, and as a face mask/cleanser.
