I've always been into collecting things. But it's always been one type of collection at a time. When I get disinterested in collecting whatever, I sell the collection. So I've never really been a horder.

My mom, who was probably on the spectrum, was a hoarder. So maybe I developed an aversion to it.

Take some advice from me, STOP. I have a house overflowing with stuff I have no way to get rid of. It is overwhelming. I am convinced it is God's justice for my being materialistic. It's also something I continue to do when I am upset.

It's my thorn. What's worse is it will go to strangers or thrown out when I'm gone.

I'm not on the spectrum, and I'm the opposite. I throw stuff away if I haven't used it in a while. I hate clutter and can't stand to see things taking up space for no reason.

YES! I would love to have more storage! especially since I live in a semi-small house!

Do you ever watch the show Hoarders? I tried watching it a few times but just couldn't. Looking at those houses made my skin crawl and caused me anxiety. I had to turn it off. Those poor people.
